3 days 2 nights Day one Depart from The Chiangmai Whitehouse early in the moring (9.30 a.m.) for a two and a half hour ride to the trek 's starting point. After a stop in a local market, walk to the hot springs for a dip and then a picnic lunch. Walk for another hour to explore a Karen village, and then continue for another two hours to a second Karen Village. Dinner and overnight. Day Two After breakfast, trek for two hours to an elephant camp for lunch. In the afternoon, ride an elephant for an hour and a half through the jungle along the Mae Tang River to the Lahu tribal village. Dinner and overnight. Day Three After breakfast, ride a bamboo raft for two and half hours down the Mae Tang River, reaching the Shan Hilltribe Village for lunch. You ' ll then return by truck to Chiangmai where your tour ends in the afternoon (4.00 or 5.00 p.m.) |
